Numbers!

Eighteen. As of Sunday Oli was 18 months old. That is officially a year and a half... never forget the all important "half".

Eleven. The number of teeth that Oli has now.

Seventeen, or more. Words. Oliver loves using words now, and will try to say ALL of them. Some words require actions/signs to make it clear what he is saying, and some are spot on. Here's a list (probably incomplete, as there are new words every day): pot, fry (frypan), cat, turtle, shoes, honey, marmite, car, cackers (crackers), apple, Nanna, Poppa, Mummy, Daddy, poos, no, ta...

Two. Baby No.2 is still happily snuggled up inside me. 37 weeks gestation now, and hopefully less than 3 weeks to go. I'm ready. I really hope that the next time I post here Baby will have a name and we'll all be saying "welcome to the world".

Three. Incidents invovling injury to Oli whilst at ABC's. He got bitten on the ear after another child took exception to him playing so close. He got pushed over (and knocked the same ear on the corner of a bookshelf) after another child decided she didn't like the look of him. He chipped a tooth - most probably by tripping over whilst walking. Luckily, there was no serious damage and he still loves going to ABC's.

Two. Oli has been walking for two months now. He's still no expert, but he's getting better and faster all the time. He's started walking on tippy toes at times too, but it just seems to be part of his playing (not habit).

Ninety. Oliver used to be kept out of the kitchen about 90% of the time. It seems now that he wants to go in there 90% of the time, and we let him. Putting the pots and pans away and coming out of the kitchen can be a bit of a battle.

One. I was sick for one day. Ugh, that was more than enough. I was laid out with a tummy bug, but luckily it didn't last long. And thankfully Andrew's Mum was happy to look after Oliver for the afternoon whilst I slept.

One. I go on Parental Leave after one more day of work tomorrow. Things are going to be very different.
